Astrology houses

While the sky is divided into 12 slices (the signs), the sky at the moment you were born is also divided from your horizon into 12 life areas: the houses. Signs describe the “how”, houses the “where” — in which area of your life an energy operates.

Houses depend on your birth time: the angle at which the sky rises over the horizon determines which sign falls on your 1st house. That’s why knowing your time matters for setting up the house system correctly. Cosmir calculates the houses with the astrologers’ standard Placidus system.
