What is the opposition aspect?
An opposition is when two planets stand directly across from each other in the sky (180°). It links the two ends of the chart along one axis; it usually forms between opposite but complementary signs.
What does it mean?
The opposition creates polarization and tension — the two ends pull and push each other. We often live this tension in our relationships, in the “me or the other” dilemma. Leaning too far toward one end makes the other end strain for balance.
But the opposition is also the greatest source of awareness. When you learn to see the two ends as complementary rather than enemies, this axis stops being a place of conflict and turns into your most mature, most balanced strength.
